Welcome To Our Dental Office

Dentist Southbury, CT - Gary J. Westerman, DMD

The primary goal of our dental practice is to provide comprehensive dental care in a relaxing setting. Dr. Westerman’s dental office is connected to his home in Southbury’s historic district, and the scene is green (except in winter) and pastoral, not a busy parking lot at a large building or strip mall; you might even see the neighboring horses and donkey peering over the fence. We value our patient relationships, making it our priority to deliver the gentle, compassionate dental care that you deserve. We believe that patients should have sufficient information to partner with us to make educated decisions about their oral health and treatment options.

We treat all ages from young children to seniors, and strive to develop lifelong relationships with our patients, using the latest techniques and technology. Your comfort is paramount to us. To this end, we offer nitrous oxide, along with  laser dentistry, and “drill-less” air microabrasion, both of which often eliminate the need for the traditional drill and numb lip. We are a full service dental practice, offering affordable dental care and providing all of your dental needs.

If you experience a dental emergency, please call us and we’ll take care of it in a timely fashion, whether you are a new or existing patient.

We are open for routine dental care as of Monday, May 18, 2020

The American Dental Association has recommended that, to lessen the spread of the coronavirus, that dental offices be closed for the month of April, except for emergency care. Some states are beginning to allow dental offices to reopen for routine care. Here in Connecticut, we await new recommendations from the Connecticut State Dental Association and the Governor's office on when we can reopen.
